WorkSafe International is a private company based in Perth, Western Australia. We are truly international in outlook, keen to assist in the worldwide challenge of prevention of work-related injuries, diseases and fatalities. Most of what we plan for work safety products and services will be delivered globally via the Internet.

Our development focus is on Mobile Computing support for practical 'WorkSafe Checks' and other safety processes, and WorkSafe Skills programs for online training, assessment and certification.

Management

Director and Owner

WorkSafe International is directed and owned by Neil Bartholomaeus. Neil was a research scientist before becoming a chief executive in the Government of Western Australia, where his roles included Director General of the Ministry of the Cabinet and Public Sector Management.

Neil Bartholomaeus formed WorkSafe International, a private company, against the relevant background of:

WorkSafe Western Australia Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the government department WorkSafe Western Australia for 11 years from 1987 to 1998.
Western Australia's representative on the Australian National Occupational Health and Safety Commission for 11 years from 1987 to 1998.
Chairman of the Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Commission of Western Australia for 9 years from 1989 to 1998.
Director of CreativityCorp Pty Ltd, a software development company, founded in 1998 to develop software platforms for work safety applications.

Technology Alliance

WorkSafe International has an alliance with CreativityCorp Pty Ltd, a software development company with expertise in mobile computing technologies, online training systems, database driven directory services and e-commerce. This synergy of work safety and software is an effective combination. The unique Pocket PC Creations software was developed initially for work safety applications, but has wide application for many business purposes.
